Laura Pavliuk

Certified Gestalt psychotherapist

I’m Laura, a Gestalt psychotherapist supporting individuals and couples through anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties, loneliness, grief and significant life changes.

Many people come to therapy not because everything is falling apart, but because they are tired of carrying so much alone. They may look capable and composed on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, uncertain or emotionally exhausted inside.

Therapy offers a space to slow down and understand what is happening beneath the surface — the emotions you have learned to suppress, the patterns that keep repeating, the relationships that leave you feeling unseen, and the needs that have been difficult to acknowledge.

My work is warm, honest and collaborative. Together, we explore what is happening in your life now, with the aim of helping you understand yourself more deeply, relate to others more authentically and make choices that feel more your own.

You don’t need to know exactly what you need before you begin. Sometimes having a safe place to start talking is enough.

Therapy with Laura helped me go through a difficult life period when everything outside and inside was collapsing. The conversations with her allowed me to better understand myself and get back my inner balance.

She helped me find my skeletons in the closet, which I was avoiding. Laura was like a mountain guide who was travelling together, waiting or pushing forward when needed and always believing that I would overcome all of that even when I had no hope.

It was the first time in my life when I met a professional for help (as for Laura, I'm not afraid to use this word). And the essence of her work is not to look for and find guilty ones, but to find a reason! In my case, it helped a lot ..! She is very caring, tactful and able to delve straight to the core of the problem. And I am very grateful she was there for me in the tough times of my life.

If I had not been so determined to come to therapy, I would probably be on the verge of insanity today...I knew what it meant to go to a psychologist, and I visited one for a couple of years. Psychotherapy is a little different. There is a connection, and there is a conversation. I feel heard. Laura is listening and helping to translate the meaning of my words to me. I am looking forward to therapy every week and I trust Laura because, after this most profound hour, I usually feel relieved, and it is like a bag of stones fell from my chest.
